Associate Veterinarian

Associate Veterinarian

Hudson Animal Hospital is looking to add an associate veterinarian who would like to join our busy 3-doctor general practice on the Upper West Side of Manhattan!

We're a full-service hospital during the day/evening with no overnight hospitalization or after-hour calls. We place value on work-life balance (We do not require after-hours communications with clients). We also value our workplace culture of camaraderie and humor; our staff enjoy working together and support each other. We book 30-minute appointments (1 hour for new patients, no walk-ins) so that we can treat patients and clients with care.

We have a full in-house lab (IDEXX CBC, chemistry, and urinalysis machines), DR x-ray, ultrasound, full dental equipment with digital dental x-ray and bonded sealant capability, and full anesthetic monitoring including EKG and capnography. Our practice has a strong dental focus so experience and/or interest in dentistry is a plus. We have a dedicated cats-only room and incorporate aspects of low-stress handling and Fear Free approaches into our practice. We collaborate closely with visiting specialists as well as those at local referral facilities.

Due to the pandemic, the New York City rental market has been favorable for tenants, but this may change as we start to open up.  If you want to experience what this exciting city can offer – world-renowned museums (The Met, MOMA, Guggenheim, etc), Broadway Shows (opening in September 2021!), and many Michelin star restaurants, this is your job!
