Robert Cleveland

Client Service Representative

Robert joins Hudson Animal Hospital with extensive experience in many facets of veterinary care. He joined the Westfield Veterinary Group and Wellness Center in Westfield, New Jersey in 1990. Soon after, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University with a concentration in Social Work. However, he realized his expertise and passion was in the field of veterinary medicine and became a trusted and valuable fixture at Westfield Veterinary Group for over twenty years. While there he augmented and solidified his skills in numerous areas including: client care, managing staff and technician’s duties. He also acted as a doctor’s liaison whose duties included facilitating communication between clients and doctors and coordinating appointments.

New Jersey’s loss is our gain as Robert now resides in Manhattan with his partner and their rescue Chihuahua Billy. They enjoy cycling throughout the city, traveling and the theater.

Eliudith (Lury) Casiano

Client Service Representative/Inventory Manager

Eliudith (Lury) was born in Puerto Rico but grew up in the Bronx. She is the proud parent of two gorgeous teenaged daughters and two adorable cats named Shadow and Akira. 

She started working in the veterinary field 4 years ago and worked at large referral centers including the Animal Medical Center and Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners but now enjoys developing more intimate relationships with her clients at Hudson Animal Hospital.

The love and passion she has for animals is more than words can express!

On her time off she practices photography which is one of her other passions, spends time with her kids and enjoys the varied cuisines New York City has to offer. Lury and her family enjoy going to the movies as well.  Her recent joy is to travel with her boyfriend who has retired from serving his country in the military.

Deseree Jimenez

Client Service Representative

Deseree was born and raised in Queens, New York. She attended John Jay College and graduated in 2016 with a BA in Forensic Psychology and Sociology. After working within the field of social work, Deseree realized her true passion was working with animals.

She aspires to become a future veterinarian. Deseree plan’s to receive her license in veterinary technology and continue working in the veterinary field. When she is not working, Deseree enjoys traveling, cooking, free diving, and hiking. Deseree is a huge animal lover and will provide the best care for your furry friends as you would.

Alexis Duran, LVT

Veterinary Technician

Alexis was born and raised in New York City. She graduated from Manhattanville College in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree where she majored in Biology and minored in Sociology. In 2015, She graduated from SUNY Delhi with a AAS in Veterinary Technology and became licensed as a veterinary technician.

Alexis plans to achieve a Master’s Degree in Business and hopes to own an animal shelter. She enjoys spending her time with her family and friends, practicing photography, eating at restaurants, listening to music, and visiting Pennsylvania. She especially loves caring for her fur children, a German Shepherd and two Yorkies.

Sherrell Ryan, LVT

Veterinary Technician

Sherrell attended the State University of New York-Canton, where she received her Associate’s degree in Veterinary Science Technology and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician. After graduation, she returned home and joined a local veterinary team which provided her with her initial hands on experience and also the application and enhancement of her veterinary medical knowledge. After working 6 years in Long Island, Sherrell had the desire to follow her dreams to NYC, where she found Hudson Animal Hospital. At Hudson, she found an environment where the staff has the patient's best interest at hand and are dedicated to making sure they are healthy and happy so she knew that she would fit right in. Sherrell has experience in dental therapy, anesthesia monitoring, veinpuncture, and radiology. She is also committed to making patients feel comfortable during office visits as well as forming and maintaining human-animal bond relationships. Outside of work, Sherrell loves dancing, acting, reading, watching classic movies, and spending time with her cat, Duma.

Philip Lu

Veterinary Assistant

Phil was always fascinated by animals as a child and eventually it developed into a passion. He decided early on in high school that he wanted to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Prior to working at Hudson Animal Hospital Phil worked with dogs and cats as a volunteer at the ASPCA and while working at Hudson, he interned at the Staten Island Zoo. He is currently a Biology major and will be graduating from Hunter College, Spring of 2018. Phil is studying for his GRE’s and is currently working on his Veterinary school applications. He is open to attending any school, but he has his sights set on Cornell. His interests include; weight-lifting, traveling, and cooking.

Wendy Garcia

Veterinary Assistant

Wendy is a native New Yorker, born and raised in Brooklyn. She has always had a passion for all animals. After completing and graduating her course in Veterinary Assistance, she knew this was the career for her. She has past experience working in the animal field as well as working in customer service. 

Wendy continues to study. She hopes to further her education as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. 

Wendy lives at home with her husband and 2 sons. She also has two furry babies named Cotton and Lion. On her spare time, Wendy enjoys cooking, taking spinning classes, and traveling with her family.


Scott Rivera

Veterinary Assistant

Scott was born in New York City and raised in New York and San Diego. He currently attends the Fashion Institute of Technology majoring in Fragrance Marketing and Design. Scott has been working in the veterinary industry for over 8 years as a veterinary assistant. Scott plans to achieve a teaching certification to teach the English language in foreign countries. He also plans to volunteer at animal shelters worldwide. Scott enjoys reading, hiking, camping, and spending time with family and friends. He has two furry children; a domestic shorthaired cat and a ferret.

Tomer Pesin

Kennel Assistant

Tomer is a Brooklyn native who loves being around animals. He is currently studying Biology at New York University and plans on graduating in May 2020. 

Tomer started at Hudson Animal Hospital as a summer volunteer in 2015 and officially joined the staff as a Kennel Assistant in June 2017. He hopes to apply to vet school after graduating. 

When Tomer's not studying or working, he enjoys listening to music, going to the movies, kayaking, and touching up on his Russian skills.
