New York has gone to the dogs

Spring has sprung for dogs in New York City! And, we think that’s a great thing. Now in a city like New York, finding places you can let your dog run free is not always easy or convenient. Most parks allow off-leash dogs from opening until 9am and from 9pm until close – if they close after nine. The Daily News published a great article for dog owners listing a number of parks throughout the city where dogs and their owners can enjoy some exercise outdoors together. Of course, our upper west side neighborhood is well represented with Riverside, Theodore Roosevelt, De Witt Clinton, and the greatest park in the world, Central Park. It’s been a long winter, so go out and enjoy the great weather. If you have any questions or concerns about your dog’s exercise program or general health, please contact the staff of Hudson Animal Hospital in New York City.
