Dr. Christopher Angiello

Owner/Veterinarian

Dr. Christopher Angiello was born and raised in Westchester County, New York. He attended college at the State University of New York at Albany where he earned a BS in Biology and a MS in neurophysiology. It was in graduate school where he fully realized his aspiration of becoming a veterinarian.

He was granted admission to Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 (now referred to as the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University) and earned his DVM degree in 1998. After graduating he was awarded an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Animal Specialty Group in Los Angeles, California. He went on to practice emergency medicine in both Los Angeles and Phoenix before deciding to return to his home state of New York in 2002.

He spent ten years as an associate veterinarian in emergency and general practice medicine in Westchester County. While there, Dr. Christopher Angiello was granted, by his peers, the honor of being considered a “Top Vet” in the county in 2011 (March, 2011; Westchester Magazine).

Dr. Angiello moved on to co-found Hudson Animal Hospital in Manhattan's Upper West Side in 2012. He has special interests in dentistry, soft tissue surgery and toxicology. Like Dr. Yoshida, he is USDA-accredited which gives him the ability to issue international health certificates. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the New York State Veterinary Medical Society, American Association of Feline Practitioners, and the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society. In his spare time he enjoys cycling, reading and studying horology.
